Narrative Clip is a simple camera that does a simple job. It snaps one picture every 30 seconds. I used the camera on a few occasions while traveling and visiting places that I wanted to remember. The Clip does snap pictures but there are some issues with the current design and with the associated software.

Wall Street Journal beat me to the scoop today with their coverage of the shortage of barrels that are needed to make bourbon. You may know that the skyrocketing popularity of bourbon is causing shortages of the brew. But the fact that NEW barrels are one the legal requirements to create bourbon is a main problem. Never mind that bourbon needs to be aged a minimum of 2 years... you still have to have barrels to put the distillate in before it actually becomes bourbon.
This last weekend was the time for sampling. We attended the Beer, Bourbon and BBQ festival in Charlotte, NC. The weather was perfect, the beverages were abundant, and we were with good friends. This event was the preparatory day for our travels to Louisville, KY where we are scheduled to visit 6 distilleries (more about those later).
