Crazy Mixture at the Fair

A friend passed along this photo from their visit to the fair last week. At first it’s difficult to understand just what this thing is. But on close inspection it’s pretty obvious.

This is a bannana dipped in chocolate, then rolled in bacon. I like all 3 of those ingredients but can also say that I’ve never imagined combining them into a single consumable.

But now that my interest has been piqued I can imagine a few other ‘county fair’ type combos that may be worth a try:

• Deep fried bacon coated in batter
• Bacon dipped in batter then rolled in chopped onion – then deep fried
• Deep fried twinkies dipped in chocolate then rolled in bacon

I think I can pick up a rolling food cart for a few hundred dollars. This could turn out to be a big money maker! What do you think?
