Brew Your Own Beer at Home – Almost like a Keurig
Truthfully I don’t drink a lot of beer. But when I do… Really, when I do drink beer I like variety and simplicity. So I’ve never attempted to brew my own. It’s just more reliable and way cheaper to buy a bottle and see if I like it without having to wait a few weeks to be disappointed by my own lack of brewing skills. But this new offering that lets me design and brew ‘on my kitchen counter’ looks like it might be a winner.
Of course the MiniBrew is only available as a wish right now. That is a wish that you will need to plunk down almost $2,000 for now and then wait till the middle of 2016 to see if it actually gets manufactured. Such is the nature of crowd funding platforms like Indegogo.
I do like the concept but will wait to see if it ever becomes a reality. Till then I’m just going to rely on the people who know what they are doing and spend much less than $2k on this experiment.
